 Leaving the coast on the way to Mt Cradle    We think we remember this is Devonport, but the truth may have dissolved in 'travel soup'  We watched this creature for a long time trying to identify him and finally found out he was a paddymelon, a small speedy marsupial  Kangaroo sausages and mustard with Coopers Stout -- a great treat  Taking the shuttle bus to Mt Cradle with an informative driver  We took the Dove Lake Circuit and enjoyed it thoroughly    Parts of the trail were on boardwalk    One trail section was entirely constructed along cliffs  We were on our knees exclaiming about something mysteriously pink on a branch below the boardwalk and two lark magpies flew closer, sat closer, walked near and as soon as we stood and walked away they were in our exact spot peering down curiously below the boardwalk.  Wanting to see whatever we were looking at.  Turned out to be thread.  The steps are part of the scenery     The rain at our site in Strahan on the west coast made a moat around our camper  Scorched earth mining country in the high country around Queenstown near Strahan  The Queenstown hills are recovering from years of mining  Lake St Clair, 'sleeping water'  The hydroelectric plant near Terraleah  On the way from Terraleah to Hobart   Evening at our site at the Treasure Island Caravan Park in the Hobart suburb of Berriedale  A wonderful morning view too    Hobart, as modern as it gets  The layered look is one we don't get tired of
